Hervé Léger is the Parisian fashion house best known for inventing the sculptural, body-hugging “bandage” dress and for redefining modern glamour. The brand was founded in 1985 by Hervé Peugnet — later known as Hervé L. Leroux — who, after early stints assisting Karl Lagerfeld, built a reputation for technical draping and garments that celebrate the female silhouette.

Peugnet’s knitted, strip-constructed dresses crystallized into the now-iconic bandage silhouette in the 1990s, a form that became a red-carpet staple and a cultural touchstone for body-con dressing.

Today, Hervé Léger is experiencing a major comeback, reinvigorating its legacy of engineered elegance and modern femininity. Under the guidance of creative director Michelle Ochs, appointed in June 2023, the brand is embracing a fresh, contemporary vision while staying true to its iconic DNA. Known for her deep understanding of form, proportion, and modern luxury, Michelle brings both precision and creativity to every design, ensuring Hervé Léger continues to celebrate confident, empowered women around the world.
